March 26th Weekend

Our service this past weekend was near the Oregon Coast, in Mapleton. We drove over in the morning for the 10:30 AM worship service. We had a great time of worship, just praising the Lord. The four person team did a great job.

We shared our hearts and passion with the people. I shared some of our prayer concerns with the church body. Then we shared our presentation. After speaking we usually show our dvd. But for some reason, it wasn't working, so I shared a little more about what we are going to do, and answered some questions.

After the service we went out to lunch with the Pastor and his wife, at a place called The Gingerbread Village. It was good food and good fellowship.

On a personal note I found out the pastor collects and sells baseball cards. A former passion of mine. The pastor asked if I had any hobbies, and I said that I collect Bobbleheads. On our way out of the restaurant, he opened his car trunk and gave me two bobbleheads. I am very greatful for them. They will go nicely with my collection.

After the lunch we went over to the coast and spent some time on the beach walking around.
