A Safe Landing with PILAT

It is now Friday morning @ 6:42. Kimberly is safely tucked away in her bed sleeping.

As I reflect on our past two weeks here at MTI and the PILAT language program, I am glad for having gone through it. We now have some techniques to use for trying to learn some parts of some of the Native Tribes languages.

We we put into groups to learn some techniques on languge, using a certain language. I learned a little bit of Hindi and Kim learned a little Russian.

We learned that learning a new language is about being able to hear how it is spoken. Not everyone talks like us. Our english box is only 44 sounds. Most languages are way more than that. So we aren't used to amking the other sounds.

We have met many others who are on the same journey as we are. Called from Above, to share His Good News with a lost and dying world around us.
