This Sunday morning we were at the Corvallis Evangelical Church, in Corvallis, Oregon. A nice 45 minute drive north of Eugene.
This was the church I attended when I was a student at Oregon State University, oh so many years ago.
We were introduced in both morning services and got to speak to many people at our display table after each service.
Pastor Ron even worked us into his messages, about using the gifts God gave you, for His service.
We enjoyed our time there and were sorry the Ditgen clan wasn't there. We were thankful to see Julie and her husband Lou, longtime friends of mine. She is actually a Ditgen, and was one of my youth leaders, wayback.
After the service we went to a favorite pizza place of ours for lunch, Woodstocks. And then went to the Oregon State Men's Basketball game. They beat Cal Poly 78-64. Thanks Ditgens for the tickets.
On our way home, it was very rainy and stormy. I guess I still haven't gotten used to being back in Oregon.
