Sunday November 19, 2006

This Sunday morning we had a service at Albany First Evangelical Church, in Albany, Oregon.

Albany is just 45 minutes north of Eugene, up I-5.

We got there and spent time with the youth group in their Sunday School class. We had ten youth and three leaders who were in the class. They were a bunch of really great youth members.

We told them about ourselves, and then showed them a WGM Task Force DVD. Task Force are our youth and college work teams.

I then gave them a trivia quiz on Native Americans. Two of the girls tied with 8 correct answers out of 15.

For the final thing, I showed them a power point I had created on us and the ministry, all tied around three contemporary Christian songs. The songs talked about Surrender, Spreading The Light, and being called to Go.

In the regular morning worship service we shared about our ministry and showed the AIF DVD.

After the service we had two different couples take out monthly support. We praise the Lord for the people we met and the ones who are praying for us and giving monthly to our ministry.

We then went over to the Pastors for lunch. We met a really nice young couple with three kids, who had dinner with us, at the Pastors.

Thanks to all who prayed for us and the service.
