Some New Year Notes

The Twins: Lori, Tom, Kato & Lisa

Well about 3 1/2 weeks until the due date for little Baby Boldon. We went to the doctors this morning and Kimberly and baby are doing exceptional. Kim has actually lost some weight the past two checkups. I guess she is trying to get a start on her New Years Resolutions. LOL. All in all, Dr. Green said we are on schedule for a timely arrival on January 28.

Also, I went to the doctors on Wednesday and was checking into having back surgery. After sitting down with the doc and learning about all of our options, we have decided to postpone any type of surgery till April, or later. It wouldn't be good for us to have me in the hospital and the baby come early.

On the support front, we have not had a church service at all in December and will most likely only have one in January. That one would be at my home church, Gilham Community Church in Eugene, Oregon. We have already spoken there once last April.

We had a good time with family members on Christmas Day. My brother Tom and his wife Kristin were there, as well as my sisters Lisa and Lori. Lori's husband Jeff and daughter Leizl were also there. It is so good to have family around during the holidays and the birth of our daughter. This year was harder on Kim as it was the first time she wasn't with her family for Christmas.

Kim's Mom and sister plan to come and visit us after the baby is born.

We will have a pretty busy schedule for February and March. We are hoping to have the rest of our support done by the end of March. We are so tired of traveling and want to be settled, so Kim can start nesting. We both know of the tremendous spiritual need there is among those we are called to. My heart aches for those we will be building relationships with.

Please pray for the American Indian Field as they are having to make some decisions about ministry related items. These are very important decisions that need to be made.

We love you all. And are so appreciative that you take the time to read our blog and that you pray for us. Our God is great.
