On Sunday we got to the church at 830 am and set up our display table in the front lobby.
We are joined by missionaries to Brazil, Jeremy and Barbara, and East Asia, Wayne and Sherry. We were with Wayne and Sherry a couple weeks ago at Harmony.
We spoke in a couple Sunday School classes and then talked about our Call to Missions in the morning service.
We came back to the church in the evening for what they call, " A Taste of Culture". Each one of us missionaries were to share a food or drink from country were from. Since it was too complicated to do frybread, I chose to go another route.
I talked about my diabetes and how that can be used for ministry with Native Americans. I have a dream of starting a Diabetes Camp to educate those we minister to. So I served some things kids who are diabetic can eat, smokies, water, diet cola and crystal light peach tea.
We had fun that night. Katy Beth, well, not so much. She was pretty fussy and whiny.
We have decided for her not to attend the evening home meetings.
