May 1st, 2007: Can't believe summer's almost here.

Well it's may 1st today. It seems like it was just Christmas, the other day.

Sure, I am getting old.

Well, last week and this week we have been working on an appeal letter for our ministry. Can you stop right now and please say a short prayer for those letters? Thank you for taking the time to do so.

If you prayed for us just now, please respond and let us know. Nothing really long, if you don't want. We would like to just know how many of you prayed for this letter.

Also, I went to the dentist today. One of my fillings broke off a couple weeks ago. So now, on Thursday at about 330 pm PST I am going to have a root canal. Yippie. Considered just getting the tooth pulled, because of the cost. $ 2,000 versus $ 200. But I decided to hang on to the old guy.

We have a service this coming Sunday. My sister Lisa will come to the service with us.

I have joined the Valley View Evangelical Church softball team. We have our first game on Friday at 6 00 pm PST. We played a practice game with a team last friday night. We won 13-6, I think. I hit two doubles and had a walk, in that game. The hits would have normally been triples, but I am slowed down this year by a bad back and a bad right knee. I should have had surgery on my back. hopefully we'll make it through the season.

I'll give you updates after each game. After our first game on friday, we are going to take my sister's daughter, Danielle, out for Pizza for her birthday. I think she turned 13.

Katy Beth still isn't sleeping through the night yet. We hope someday soon. She still is pretty fussy at night. She just celebrated her three month old day, on Monday.
