Our Trip to Texas

We had a good time visiting with all of Kim's family in Brownsville, Texas.

We stayed with Kim's parents, Ron and Sarabeth. We also got to see her sister, Sharon and her brother, Randy. Randy's family has recently moved back from New Mexico, and live nearby. Sharon lives near San Antonio, so she drove down for about four days.

It's always a joy to go and see Kim's Grandma, who we call Mema, and her uncle, Bubba. Bubba's my buddy and we like to talk about football and grill out while were are there.

We had a delay on our way down. We ran into a storm over Houston and had to circle around for an extra hour or so. Plus we ran into rough turbulence because of the storms. It was all to Katy Beth's displeasure. She wasn't a happy camper.

When we did finally land, we found out our flight to Harlingen, TX had been canceled. So we had to stay in Houston for the night. We got up the next morning and flew into Harlingen, where Kim's parents picked us up.

Katy Beth had a really good trip coming back to Arizona. We thank the Lord for that.
