This is how our day went today. I woke up at about 445 am and got ready for the day.
At our church, First Indian Baptist, we had an early sunrise service at 630 am. I was up to get things ready for that and breakfast.
Pastor Shaun gave a devotional message on the first Easter morn. We had about 50 in attendance this morning.
I got the privilege of being able to cook Easter breakfast for the hungry masses. Well, maybe not masses, but they were hungry. We had scrambled eggs, ham, hash brown patties, biscuits and gravy, fruit, danishes, coffee and OJ.
After breakfast we had Sunday School, and then morning worship.
Katy Beth has been a little under the weather, so after SS was over I came home and Kim went to the morning service. I watched Katy Beth.
We ate lunch at home and went outside and did a little Easter Egg hunt with Katy Beth. We praise the Lord for her everyday. Even though she is quite fussy when she is not feeling good. We praise the Lord she is getting better.
Also, yesterday we got the joy of getting to visit with Joel and Callie. They were in our wedding party as singles, in McAllen, TX. He is a radio DJ for a Christian station called Family Life Radio. They have a 3 1/2 month old boy named, Jaben. It is the first time we were able to see him. What a cute and big boy. It was good to catch up on old times. We saw them last when we went down to Tucson for Thanksgiving with them.
All in all , a great Easter 2008. Indeed, Jesus Christ is Risen, and He is LORD.
