On Thursday, April 17th, Steve, A fellow missionary, & I went to look at Youth Haven Ranch in Pacacho, AZ. It's about a 1 1/2 hour drive from our ministry center.
We went down to check out their ministry and see if we could get any ideas for our camps.
We were met by wonderful staff members and given a nice tour of their campus. We didn't get to meet or talk with their program director, but got an idea of how things ran. One of the important things I wanted to see was some of their promotional items. We got some of that and will look to get ours going.

Larry's brother Randy, runs Family Life radio. It is a radio station that is broadcast in many cities in the US. Our good friends, Joel and Callie live in Tucson and Joel is a DJ for FLR. They were both in our wedding party as singles. I kinda got them together.
We had a good time at the ranch and we look forward to going down this summer when they have week long camps going on.

I passed the Youth Haven ranch everyday on my way to the watermelon farm last summer.
