Just wanted to let you know that our church has won our first co-ed softball game of the season. The reason this is so important, is because we lost all our games, 0-12 last spring, as a men's team. The pastor calls the women, " Our Secret Weapons."
We played Calvary Chapel, and beat them 11-2. This was also our first game of the season. It's good to taste victory. But more importantly, we had fun.
We have a lot of new players who aren't members of our church. So we see them at church from time to time. They have to attend some services to be able to play. Three of the new players are alumni of Southwest Indian School. It's good to be able to have them on the team.
We have a double header next Friday Night. Kim and I will be taking some visitors to SIMC to our game and then out to eat. I am glad to lead the sports ministry team at church. God uses all things to lead us to Himself.
