Shots in the back

Tomorrow morning I will head off to the doctors to have cortisone shots in my lower back.

I will head to the outpatient center of Banner Thunderbird Hospital, just down the road, at 10 am. It'll be after we have staff morning devotions and prayer meeting.

I will be sedated and the procedure will take about 20 minutes. I will be free to go about 45 minutes later.

These shots are into the facets in my lower back. My back has been getting slowly worse over the last few weeks. Some degree of sciatica has set in my left leg. Hopefully this will solve that problem.

Then on Thursday at 145 PM I head to have another shot of lubricant into my right knee. The first shot my it feel better for the next day. but it has slowly gotten worse. I hope to ask the doctor if I can just get the knee replaced in November. I didn't think it would give me this much trouble.

I have to remind myself, " In His time and His strength."
