Well, here it is today, 7 weeks, today, after the surgery for my total right knee replacement.
The last past 2 weeks, things have started to feel better on it.
I was able to walk for two hours last Saturday and pass out flyer's for our church. Wasn't sure I could do it. God gave me the strength.
Then I played 18 holes of golf on Monday. So I would say it is progressing fine. The swelling has started to go down as well, and there is not as much pain.
I am still walking with a limp, but it is becoming less and less noticeable.
Physical Therapy has been going well. I have only three more sessions left. And then it'll be on my own for the rest of the time. My next doctors appointment is in about 5 weeks or so. I will try to push myself to where I can totally straighten my leg out.
I just have to give the Lord all the praise and glory for the pace in which it has healed.
Who knows, maybe softball in a month? LOL
