And a Child Shall Lead Them

For the past 4 Summer Camps we had in June and July 2010 we heard Colossians 1:10 recited over and over. The campers recited this verse at most all mealtimes. It goes something like this, " That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him. being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. "

Well, long about the fourth and last camp, Katy Beth who is now about 3 1/2 years old, asked Kimberly if she could say the verse to her. Kimberly thought she might be able to say a few words. But to her amazement, she repeated it word for word. Then she asked if she could tell "Daddy". This was because all the kids for Jr and Sr High had to recite the verse to me for points for their teams. Well she did it. And I just happened to get it all on video.

We are so proud that she is eating the Word and hiding it in her heart. What amazes me even more is that a lot of the adults had trouble saying this verse.

And a child shall lead them.
