March 12th Weekend

This Past weekend we went to Portland OR and stayed with one of the twin sisters of mine. ( She not my twin, but a sister whos a twin)

We got to go out to a nice Chinese place and have some good food. I just love any Asian food. I ordered a Bubble Drink. This is a new craze across the country, mostly served in Thai or Vietnamese restaurants, and some chinese. It is like a smoothie with marble sized tapioca pearls in it. Well, with my diabetes, I took a larger amount that night so I could enjoy myself eating. The Bubble drink was way too sweet. I even asked Kimberly and my sister Lisa to try it. They said it was way to sweet, also. SO that night when I tested my blood glucose level, it was way high. But it came back to normal the next morning.

We had services that Sunday morning (12th) in Ridgefield WA. It is just about 10 miles north of Portland. We spoke in the SS class, as we gave our personal testimonies. Then in the morning worship, we told about our work among the Native Americans and showed our dvd on the work. Afterwards the church had a potluck. We did get some monthly support from this service.
