Cincinnati Reds: The Reds are currently in 2nd place in thier division and have the 3rd best overall record in the National League, at 23 - 15. But as I type this they are losing to the Pirates 4-0. They are also on a 3 game losing streak. They are one of the surprise teams of the year.
Portland Trail Blazers: The Blazers ownership situation is still uncertain. They have a good young and athletic nucleus of players, a disciplined coach and fans hoping for this years draft's number one pick on June 27th. The Blazers finished the year with the NBA's worst record. But they will always be my team.
Miami Dolphins: The 'Fins just aquired former Oregon Ducks QB, Joey Harrington from the Detroit Lions, to compete with former Minnesota Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper. We also picked up former OSU Beaver LB Trent Bray and former Virginia Tech QB Marcus Vick for free agent contrats. Vick is the younger brother of Atlanta QB Michael Vick. Marcus has had many on and off field problems.
Oregon State Beavers: The #7 ranked Womens softball team is hosting a regional tournament this weekend in Corvallis. Also in the tourny is Baylor, Nevada and Portland State. It is double elimination. The #10 ranked Mens baseball team is still finishing its regular season.
