SONdays @ SPLICE

" Please attend a church out of your comfort zone," was the information at the bottom of our schedules for each week while we attended MTI training.

So last weekend ( 13th ) we visited a " Cowboy Church" in Colorado Springs. It was usually held at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame site, but was moved due to certain circumstances. It was held on the eastern side of CS, at the home of one of the members. There were about 10 of us trainees that went. The service was held outdoors, and we partook in Communion. The pastor's message was on the Parable of the Sower. It is good to see a community of cowboy believers having a place to go and worship with each other.

This weekend (20th) we went and visited the Korean Baptist Church, near the CS airport. We took along with us a couple of the single trainees. We had to listen to the service on listening devices, as the service was being translated. We really enjoyed the experience. Being Korean myself, it was a great joy for me to be in that community, even though I wasn't raised around the Korean Community.
