Splice Week One

Well, it's Friday afternooon and we are done with week one of SPLICE.

We have been learning a lot of our culture, other cultures and how we react to things, where the two are concerned.

We've done a lot of role playing and interactive things.

We've done a lot of splitting up into smaller groups, usually not in the same group as your spouse.

We have met a lot of great " missionary warriors and warriors in training."

We look forward to learning more and getting to know the others a lot better.

This weekend we are going to see the Olympic Training Center, Focus on the Family and visit with Adam & Alejandra W. our missionary friends from McAllen, TX who are headed back to Spain. They just recently had a baby. SO we are excited to see the little one, and catch up on things.

We are also required to go to a church which is out of our comfort zone. So we are planning on attending The Cowboy Church, and next weekend, visiting the Korean Church. Even though I am Korean, I was not raised in that culture, so it is out of my zone.

We appreciate all of your prayers for us. We pray as we continue to go through this training, the Lord will equip us with what we need to minister more effectively. We also pray that God will miraculously raise up more supporters for us.

Feel free to call us.
