A Jesus Warrior

This morning I got the privilege of meeting Author and noted speaker, Richard Twiss.

Richard is a Lakota / Sioux.

Richard wrote the books, Five Hundred Years of Bad Haircuts and One Church, Many Tribes.

He was introduced to me by David, one of our supporters.

I had first heard of Richard, through my good friend and Navigators missionary, Paul. He told me of his Native American heritage and all he was doing for Native American awareness.

I am in the first part of reading One Church, right now, and have found it very good reading. I would love to hear him lecture some day.

I want to learn all I can from him, as we enter into our ministry to the First Nations Peoples of the southwest. I want to be able to bring the Jesus Trail in a way those we are ministering to feel culturally user friendly to.
