Safe Trip Home

We had a wonderful time in Brownsville Texas, visiting Kimberly's family and our many friends.

It was quite an experience flying with a newborn. By the way, when do you stop calling them that?

But due to many people praying for us, both flights, to and from went off without any major problems. Katy Beth did really well. She was a little fussy on the way back to Oregon, because it was night time.

We want to thank Alan, for picking us up in Portland and bringing us home.

Kimberly's Mema, was very pleased to be able to hold her newborn great granddaughter. The rest of the family was pleased, also to get to see and hold Katy Beth as well.

We got to go to our two respective schools for a time of visiting and baby showers. Thanks to Pearson and Taylor Christian for all they did for us. it was good to see everyone. And a big thanks to Debbie for getting a lot of freinds together at Hop Tung for a fun shower.

Now we are back in Portland and getting settled in. We went today and got Katy Beth a new crib. Although it had to be ordered, and won't be here for a couple weeks.

Please pray for us as we work on an appeal letter and make personal phone calls to try to get the rest of our monthly support by the end of June. We also have some churches lined up for services as well as some camp meetings. We especially need prayer for trying to get into some Idaho churches.

We are continually trusting in the Lord for his leading and timing for us to get to the field. We know they need us right now.
