To Work: Day One

Today we started off with Devotions. Wednesday is our staff devotional day. We are studying the book of Nehemiah. A true man of God who has a heart for the people. In the opening of the book, we see him weeping, mourning, fasting and praying for his people. How many of us are that moved for the lost?

After devotions, prayer and singing, we went to the library( remember this was a school at one time ) and moved some things around. The carpet was just cleaned yesterday.

I spent most of the rest of the day pulling old fencing out of the ground. My sunburn is proof that I spent about 5 hours out in the 108 degree heat. Thank goodness for a forklift to pull the cemented posts out of the ground.

It is so good to be back on the missionfield.

Tomorrow we meet with the Asst. Field Director. We will discuss the things we will be doing this fall and winter. Our jobs, so to speak.

With the property sale going through, a lot of my time will be spent doing maintanence things. We have lots of stuff to do to clean out buildings, demolish them and then rebuild some new ones.

We will make sure to take your time and seek God's direction, as to our place of ministry here. We want to be doing His will and way, not man's.

Our prayer is that we would have sensitive hearts for the lost. We want the Lord to break our hearts till they long for none but Him.
