I went to see my Diabetes doctor this morning. He informed me that I am not a Type 1 Diabetic, but Type 2. So that means I am no longer insulin dependent. As a matter of fact, my pancreas is producing insulin.
So now I am taking some pills for a couple weeks to see how they do with my Blood Glucose Levels. It's nice to be able to get off the insulin pump. No more needles stuck in me and no more wires hanging out of me.
I also think it might be easier to lose some weight. I thought I heard that it is harder for people on insulin to lose weight. Although I did lose 12 lbs when I had strep throat.
I want to praise the Lord for His hand of healing over me.
