May 10th & 11th

On Wednesday Night we drove from Portland to Sublimity. It is a small town just east of Salem.
We spoke at Cascade View Free Methodist Church. A church in which I had spoke before. When we got there we met the missions person in charge and set up our display table. Then we had a meal with some of the church members.

We were joyed to have the senior high youth group in listening to us speak. After the service we had one of the youth come up and share that he was glad we came and spoke. He said that what we had to say and the DVD we showed has helped him in his walk. It encourages us when we are able to minister while out raising support. Because that is what we are about. We pray for this young man as he is taking a missions trip this summer and then onto Bible School.

On Thursday we had to travel really far for our service. We stepped out our door andinto the WGM Western regional offices and spoke at the Jennings Lodge Prayer Fellowship. Many who were there had been down to visit Southwest Indian School. We had a good time of reaquainting, fellowship and prayer. One prayer request had us praying for a man who had diabetes for a long time and he was having one of his legs amputated. A personal request that is close to us, in our battle with diabetes.

We have been staying in the Portland area for this past week. So after this wekend it's back to Eugene.
