Mother/Daughter Banquet

It was a very exciting event last Monday as I got to speak for the first time alone to a group of wonderful women and girls! We had a great time enjoying dinner together and focusing on the special relationship that only a mother and daughter can share. I especially enjoyed the theme of the event, patterns of living, as we had fun with word games about certain types of material and things having to do with sewing! I love that kind of stuff!!!

I appreciated the trio that sang He's Still Working On Me. It brought back memories from my childhood and reminded me of how God continues to work inour lives all the time. It also reminded me of my mom, who would sing a song to me many nights as I went to sleep. We both share that love of music I guess because it ministers to us so much.

More than anything, though, I appreciated the time with other godly women who understand how important it is to share with their friends about the love of God. Many unsaved ladies/girls were there and I would like to ask that you join me in prayer for them as they think about what I shared with them. May they be open to God's calling on their lives and respond!!!
