Well, it's true! We are expecting!!! Kato and I went to the doctor today and he confirmed that I am indeed pregnant and 5 and half weeks along. According to the formula, they put January 28th as our due date. We'll see! We are so excited about adding to our family and seeing what God has in store for us along the way!
When we had this picture taken in 2005, we sent it out. One person responded, they thought from the picture that it meant we had a little one on the way. Kimberly and I had a good laugh about that. ( If you were the one who thought that, then we hope you don't mind us sharing this little story) Well, now we are able to use this picture, and the # 1 sign with my index finger does now indicate one is on their way.
Kimberly keeps holding out for twins. I, myself think it'll be a boy. But if we had a boy and girl twins, then that'd be the best situation. But we will be blessed by the Lord to have whatever He gives us. As for names, we are thinking Jameall Rasheed if it's a boy and if it's a girl, then Shaniqwah Rahim. Just kidding , Mom & Dad. Although I am a twin and Kimberly's paternal Grandmother was a twin, who knows what that means for us.
We are just happy and blessed to be moving into this new chapter in our lives. It's good to have a new life after the two deaths, diabetes and cancer we have experienced in our families.
Praise be to God our Father and Jesus Christ, through whom all this is possible.
