June 1st - 4th, 2006

On Thursday June 1st, we drove up to Milwaukie, Oregon for Kimberly's service/meeting with The Harmony Evengelical Womens group. Kimberly spoke to about 13 women and shared our dvd. this was the first meeting in which she got to share our good news about the little one we are expecting. We drove home that evening celebrating the good news and service with donuts from Krispy Kreme. Boy, those things really shoot my glucose level through the roof.

On Saturday the 3rd, we had a family get together, mixed in with a few friends. We thank Harriet for hosting the party. We were sorry our sister Lisa and her daughter Danielle couldn't make it down from Portland. Also not able to be there were our sister, Kathy and her husband Alan, as well as my niece Janet and her family. Janet was celebrating her 4th wedding anniversary. Congratulations.

That evening we drove up to Milwaukie and stayed in the WGM house. Our service on Sunday morning was in Canby, Oregon. The Pastors wife, Linda, grew up in the same church I did in Dallas, Oregon. Her parents also attend the church there. It was good to see them as well. We spoke in the SS class and even had a game of Native American trivia. We spoke as well in the morning service and showed our AIF dvd. We were glad that my sister, Lori and her family were able to attend the service as well.

On Sunday evening we drove to northeast Portland and had a service at Columbia View Wesleyan Church. This was the first time that Kimberly was starting to get sick from her pregnancy. So I did alomost all the speaking that night.

Please pray for Kimberly as she has not been feeling well the past couple days. We have a service in Idaho this weekend, and she needs to feel up to riding in the truck all that way.
